What is Web Hosting?

Even if you live on an island, no one can get to you.
Your website’s IP address is actually its address. IP, which stands for “Internet Protocol,” is a set of numerical instructions that serves as a communication, identification, and location system for all online computers. Simply said, a “Dedicated IP” is an address that doesn’t change for every connection.
You could believe that I might run a website on my personal computer and obtain my own dedicated IP address at home. But what if you need to restart your computer because the power or the internet is out? Your website will suddenly become inaccessible to everyone. Web hosting providers own and run dedicated machines that are only used to serve websites in order to address this issue. Data centers are specialized buildings where servers are housed. The features required to make your website accessible 24/7/365 are present in data centers.
